When you see some of these, your initial thoughts might be - where and how would I use those?!? Well, I'm here to show you where you could use each of these colours in your home and I think you'll be surprised! This was such a fun way to be creative with the anticipated colours of the year from the leading experts in the industry - Pantone, Behr, Sherwin Williams, & Benjamin Moore.
The first 2025 Colour of the year I'm highlighting is Pantone - Mocha Mousse. When I initially saw this colour I imagined it in a home office, but as I started designing the space, it just didn't feel right. I left it, moved on to the other three, and then did Pantone's last. And now, it's my favourite room. I'm obsessed and would LOVE to actually see someone do this in their bedroom!
The next colour of the year is Behr - Rumors. It's gorgeous. Can you imagine soaking in this tub, with a glass of wine? The chandelier is defintiely a splurge, but oh is it gorgeous! I mixed in some moody texutre with a hexagon shower floor tile and a large format black marbel inspired wall tile. This ensuite would be so dreaaamy!
The third colour of the year is my favourite; Sherwin Williams - Quietude. This to me is a perfect neutral colour that is the most versatile as far as use. It could also be used in a living room, primary bedroom, kitchen or bathroom. However, as soon as I saw it, I immediately thought it was perfect for a nursery. Jenny lind cribs are my absolute favourite and knew right away that it would compliment this colour.
The last colour of the year is Benjamin Moore - Cinnamon Slate. I love this for a family room space! It's also quite versatile, too, and would look beautiful in a bedroom or home office. Mixing in some wood tones, a moody rug and keeping the furniture more timeless balances this colour out perfectly.
