DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM PROJECT INVESTMENT REQUIRED TO WORK WITH WILLOAK HOMES?
Not necessarily. However, Willoak Homes approaches renovations from a design-first perspective and typically works with thoughtfully selected mid-to-high quality materials. As a result, our renovation proposals tend to reflect this level of craftsmanship and finish.
HOW DO YOU HELP ENSURE RENOVATION COSTS STAY PREDICTABLE?
Our process begins with thoughtful planning and design. By defining the scope, layout, and material selections before construction begins, we’re able to provide a proposal that reflects the full vision of the project from the start, helping minimize unexpected costs during the renovation.
WHAT IS THE PROJECT TIMELINE?
Every renovation is unique, but most projects take approximately 8–24 months, and in some cases longer, from the initial design through procurement and construction completion.
HOW IS THE PROJECT INVESTMENT STRUCTURED?
Yes. We are always happy to walk through your project proposal with you and review the allowances allocated for each area of the renovation so you have a clear understanding of how the investment is structured. As selections are finalized and materials are sourced, any adjustments to those allowances are reflected in your final invoice.To honour our long-standing trade relationships and supplier agreements, we do not provide individual supplier invoices or receipts. Instead, our proposals and final invoicing are thoughtfully structured to clearly account for all selections and adjustments throughout the course of your project
CAN WE WORK WITH OUR OWN CONTRACTOR?
Willoak Homes operates as a full-service design and project management studio, so we typically guide both the design and construction phases of the project. This integrated approach allows us to maintain the integrity of the design and ensure every detail is executed as intended
